You are exactly right. Good article.

Re: You Are The Only Hero Left

We need more of that understanding.

Re: You Are The Only Hero Left

Indeed.

Re: You Are The Only Hero Left

Our most loved virtues, and the things we most admire and remember, are the products of the difficult circumstance we live through. To survive, overcome, and flourish despite the adversities defines our most valued memories. Adapting to whatever situation is presented is a distinctly American trait. The rest of the world gave up their freedoms long ago, and look what it's gotten them. Heroes do not come from falling in line. Heroes are leaders by both deed and example. Great job Freedom mom!

Re: You Are The Only Hero Left

“A hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom.”~Bob Dylan

Re: Rush Limbaugh’s Incurable Disease … Warning! I like it, it´s thought out and balanced and although you and me probably would have hard and ardent political discussions should we ever meet, I want to see and read all sides and learn from it. Sometimes I agree, sometimes (probably more often:)) diagree, sometimes I change my mind, sometimes I strengthen my own beliefs. I need to challenge myself and my thinking as I believe that makes me grow. Until next time :)

Re: Rush Limbaugh’s Incurable Disease … Warning! You hit the nail on the head three times in a row. Now if we can only import that thought process into the US, we would be fine. Comparing Breitbart and Rush, though, is comparing apples and oranges. Because Acorn was performing illegal activities on a massive scale and taking government money to do it. And Rush Limbaugh was merely offensive to some but not all. He was trying to make a point, albeit badly. The only thing Rush wasted was hot air and not people's hard earned money. I hope to hear from you again. Thank you very much.

Re: Rush Limbaugh’s Incurable Disease … Warning! I actually agree with a lot of what you are saying here, probably that Fluke-woman is used by agenda-driven people. But thing is that in the US, everybody seems to have an agenda. This time it's the "let's get Rush off the airwaves"-agenda, another time in a not so distant past it was the "let's make ACORN disapear"-agenda. Examples are 13 on the dozen, from all sides of the spectrum. On the right and on the left there are a lot of shills, and they are absolutely destroying the discourse of, let's say less agenda-driven, people who actually wants to do stuff. Sitting in Sweden, watching the political life in the US just falling apart, I wonder why more people are not in the streets just demanding political leaders to just grow up and act like adults. Now all of them seem to do the "I'm gonna hold my breath until I get what I want"-tactics and it's actually tragic. You have had a good thing going over there for many years now, but it's getting destroyed by a few people on the left and a few people on the right. I hope you as a country get your act together and demand more of your leaders...
